Donor Named Scholarships

Below is a list of our endowed donor-supported scholarships. Many of these endowments feed into the Dean’s Scholarship for Excellence. Learn more about the Dean’s Scholarship here.

To add to an endowed scholarship or create your own scholarship:

1. Click: make a gift 
2. Select “other” under “My Gift Should Benefit.” 
3. Write in the name of the scholarship in the “other” box, or give a name to the new scholarship you would like to create.

Donor-Supported Scholarships for Incoming Students

These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of alumni and friends of the law school. All incoming students are automatically considered for these scholarships, so no separate application is necessary. Most donor-supported scholarships fund all or part of a student’s existing merit scholarship and include an opportunity to connect personally with the sponsoring donor.  Most donor named scholarships are awarded every year.

Donor-Supported Scholarships for Current Upper-Division Students

All students are eligible to apply for upper-division scholarships after the first year. Recipients for each award are selected on the basis of criteria specified by the sponsoring donor.
