Katherine “Katie” Linn Beck Fey graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1990. After graduating with her JD, Katie entered into the US Air Force as a Staff Judge Advocate and held that position for over nineteen years, ultimately separating from the Air Force Reserve as a Major. She remained in service to her country working in medical law and ethics. Katie was the light of the room in every social interaction, knowing no fear of social awkwardness. She was loved and respected by all who were lucky enough to know her.
To memorialize her passing, this scholarship was created to assist law students coming from Eastern and/or Southern Oregon to pursue their dreams of a career in law. If there are no students from this region, the fund will support an Oregonian who possesses the Katie’s spirit for serving her community.
