Class of 1975 Endowed Scholarship

Law School Campus 1973

Leaving our Legacy

Fifty years ago, the Class of 1975 was the third class on the new campus at Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. Today’s campus has expanded with a new building, a courtroom, state of the art technology in the bunkers, a cafeteria and coffee shop! Our class of 1975 fondly remembers gathering in the ‘fishbowl’ to chat and study, making do without on-campus food service, and of course, learning from our exceptional professors Newell, Brunet, Lansing, Jones, Huffman, Williamson, and Belsheim, just to name a few.

To commemorate our 50th anniversary milestone year, the Class of 1975 has established a new endowed scholarship to award annually: The Class of 1975 Endowed Scholarship.

Ed Brunet

The Class of 1975 Endowed Scholarship will go to an incoming law school student who can demonstrate financial need, community involvement, scholarly achievement and plans for staying involved with the law school after graduation. Because the fund will be held within the institution’s endowment, this scholarship will be awarded in perpetuity, creating a lasting legacy for our class and impacting law school students for generations to come.

Our goal as a class is to build the 1975 Scholarship fund to $100,000, ensuring an annual scholarship award of approximately $5,000.

We are excited to create this meaningful legacy as a class and celebrate our milestone reunion on September 26, 2025. Please consider a contribution toward this scholarship fund and join our class in impacting future generations of law school students.
