Biography
As a Managing Attorney in the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s Criminal Justice Project, David B. Rosengard works to ensure that justice is done on behalf of animal cruelty victims through trial support, amicus briefs, legislative efforts, and educational programs. David earned a bachelor’s degree in history and gender studies at Claremont McKenna College, and subsequently worked in higher education. In law school, David focused on animal and criminal law, co-directing Lewis & Clark’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter, serving as an Animal Law Review Editor-in-Chief, clerking for the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, and working on farmed animal and vegan prisoner issues through the Animal Law Clinic.
