Amanda Scioscia

Biography

Ms. Scioscia began her career as a New York City public defender, representing thousands of clients for Brooklyn Defender Services, New York County Defender Services, as well as in private defense practice. She was barred in Oregon in 2024, and currently works as a Senior Deputy Defender for the NW Trial Division of the Oregon Public Defense Commission. She has been admitted in New York State as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms. Scioscia holds a JD from the City University of New York School of Law, an LLM in International and Transnational Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam School of Law, a Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
