Biography

Nicholas (“Nic”) Sanchez is an Attorney with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), within the Region 10 office. Nic advises on all aspects of cleanup and cost recovery matters under the Comprehensive Environmental Research Compensation, and Liability ACT (CERCLA) at both private sites and federal facilities, with a specific focus on working with tribal governments. Nic is formerly a judicial clerk both with the Oregon Court of Appeals and United States District Court. He has also taken more than a dozen jury trials to verdict prior to joining the EPA. Nic is a 2018 graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School and has dedicated himself to tribal self-determination.
