Biography
Danny Newman is a litigation partner and Co-Chair of the Government Law & Disputes Group at Tonkon Torp LLP, focusing his practice on bankruptcy/insolvency and government litigation and investigations. His work experience covers some of the largest chapter 11 cases in the Pacific Northwest, debtor and creditor litigation and out-of-court workouts, receiverships, and successful resolutions for challenges to ballot titles and investigations by state agencies.
Danny’s previous experience includes a clerkship at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Western District of Texas, and a tenure at Paul Hastings LLP. He earned his JD from Northwestern University School of Law.
