Jennifer Johnson Jennifer Johnson The Jennifer Johnson Business Law Professorship was established by alumni and friends of the law school in recognition of, and deep gratitude for, Emertius Dean Jennifer Johnson’s ten years of exemplary leadership to Lewis & Clark Law School, and its faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The professorship recognizes a dedication to the study and teaching of business law, and the understanding of the importance of law in any thriving business venture.

Dean Johnson’s Legacy

Emertius Jordan D. Schnitzer Dean Jennifer Johnson’s ten-year tenure has ensured that Lewis & Clark Law School is strong, resilient, and ready to take on future challenges. Since 2014, her guidance has enhanced the law school’s reputation and standing, and set the school on a course for a bright future.

Jennifer’s accomplishments include:

  • Over $57 million raised
  • Grew the law school endowment by 52.7%
  • 64 new scholarships
  • Built the Sunderland Plaza
  • The Gantenbein building, Boley Law Library, and McCarty law classrooms were renovated
  • An Advocacy Center and the Matt Bergman teaching courtroom were established
