  • Description: Sneaker Law will provide hands-on contract drafting experience through the lens of the sneaker industry – covering areas of law including entity formation, employment, intellectual property, licensing and influencer collaborations, and litigation. Adjunct professor Nic Mayne from Nixon Peabody’s Entertainment & Media team will be joined by guest speakers from leading Portland-based sneaker and apparel companies, providing students exposure to a number of different areas of law, and the opportunity to develop drafting skills through weekly in-class drafting assignments. Required Textbook: Sneaker Law, Anand & Goldstein.
