NW AILA Conference
The American Immigration Lawyers Association is hosting its regional conference in Seattle and online on Thursday, October 16 and Friday, October 17. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from practitioners and experts on three areas of immigration law: Employment & Business, Removal Defense & Litigation, and Family & Humanitarian-Based. If there is enough interest, ISG can broadcast the conference on one or both of the days in a classroom on campus to allow as many interested students as possible to listen to the sessions! If you are interested in this virtual option, please email us (isg@lclark.edu), and let us know if this option would work for you on Thursday, Friday, or on both days. We will consider the number of students who indicate that they are interested and available before making a decision on whether to provide a virtual option. P.S. We also recommend becoming an AILA member to stay up to date on immigration news and hear about events. Membership is free for law students! Here are the registration instructions on the AILA website.
