Business Law Programs and Certificates

The business law program includes a variety of specialities including Intellectual Property and Tax Law.

Certificates in Business Law:

If you wish to pursue a focus in business, IP law, or Energy and Sustainability Law, you have the option to complete the requirements for the Certificate in those areas. Be sure to refer to What’s What for a complete description of these certificate programs.

Joint JD/MBA Degree:

Lewis & Clark Law School and Portland State University Graduate School of Business offer a joint JD/MBA degree, designed for students interested in both business and the law.. This program allows qualified students to earn both a JD from Lewis & Clark Law School and an MBA from Portland State University on an accelerated schedule.

The program allows students to earn a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in as few as four years, rather than the typical five years. Students in the program will save a full year’s worth of tuition and expenses.
