Why did you pick Lewis & Clark Law School?
Lewis & Clark has a phenomenal reputation, a beautiful campus, and strong ties to Portland’s legal community. I was also impressed with the school’s focus on cultivating public interest lawyers.
What did you like most about Lewis & Clark?
I felt truly supported by the incredibly caring and professional staff and faculty. I was also continuously impressed by the breadth of knowledge and expertise of my professors, and by the incredible things my fellow students were accomplishing.
What has been your favorite professional experience so far?
Shortly after graduation, I was appointed to the Oregon Justice Resource Center’s board of directors. About six months later, OJRC and the Metropolitan Public Defender jointly launched the Oregon Innocence Project. I am extremely proud to be a part of such important work.
Any advice for current students?
Take the time to do the things you care deeply about and incorporate them into your legal practice.
