Claire was a member of the inaugural LLM class in 2013. After graduating, Claire founded a nonprofit, the Raven Corps, focused on unifying a new high school youth advocacy movement to promote environmental sustainability, compassion, and community through a plant-based diet.
“For anyone interested in Animal Law, Lewis and Clark is truly the place to be. I was able to take highly specialized classes from experienced and knowledgeable professors. I gained invaluable experience participating in the Animal Law Clinic, working for CALS as a graduate assistant, and creating an interdisciplinary human-animal studies collaboration between Lewis and Clark’s three campuses. Pursuing my LLM allowed me to immerse myself completely in Animal Law, and I was surrounded by bright, passionate students and faculty.”
Center for Animal Law Studies is located in Wood Hall on the Law Campus.
