Bryan Hinkle is the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Lewis & Clark Law School. He was the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management at Santa Clara University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in the evening, part-time program. While at Santa Clara he was among the first students to participate in the Northern California Innocence Project, and was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Legal Analysis Research and Writing.
After law school Hinkle worked for Access Group (now AccessLex) and regularly visited Lewis & Clark to provide financial literacy training to its students. He also has extensive experience in the areas of career services, financial aid, and accounts receivable. He frequently presents on the topics of law school admissions and financial aid for the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC), the West Coast Consortium of Private Law Schools (WCC), and other colleges and universities.
Hinkle was involved in the formation of the Community College Pathway to Law School Initiative in California, and worked closely with the leadership of LEAP (Legal Education Access Pipeline) to help launch the Northern California expansion of the LEAP program.
Originally from Southern California, Hinkle moved to the Santa Cruz area to attend UC Santa Cruz, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and Graduate Certificate in Theater Arts. He performed in the touring company, Shakespeare to Go, and served on the Programming Board for KZSC, 88.1 FM, where he also provided local news coverage and served as a late-night disc jockey.
