Lori Teper is a 2025 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Peirce College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a resolute government employee, and a union steward committed to fairness and advocacy. Beyond her government service and keeping it in the family, Lori channels her passion for animal welfare into her work as a paralegal at her son’s animal law firm (www.teperlegal.com.) She is a fierce proponent of recognizing animal sentience, including marine life, and is actively engaged in efforts to end the use of harmful rodenticides.
Lori’s commitment to advocacy extends into the community, where she participates in beach and waterway cleanups and assists when she can at horse rescues, and shares initiatives to ensure municipalities and states provide proper training for law enforcement and animal control officials on humane and effective animal handling and following policy and procedure.
With a strong dedication to giving a voice to the voiceless, Lori is eager to begin the Master of Studies in Law (MSL) program at Lewis & Clark Law School to deepen her knowledge and expand her impact in protecting animals and shaping stronger legal protections for them.
