Laurie E. Dallos is a practicing attorney in New York. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in biology. After graduating law school at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, she practiced in the areas of commercial and environmental litigation.

Subsequently, Laurie earned an LLM degree in Environmental Law from Pace University School of law. She went on to represented municipal and private clients in state and federal court on environmental, real estate and land use matters. Areas included general liability, premises liability, hazardous waste and petroleum contamination; environmental impact review under SEQRA, CERCLA liability, Petroleum Bulk Storage Code, NEPA compliance, zoning and Safe Harbor provisions, New York State Navigation Law and Environmental Conservation Law. She assisted in federal litigation and mediation relating to third-party defendant CERCLA cost recovery/contribution actions.

A life-long animal lover, and dog/cat rescuer. Laurie takes her yellow lab, Duchess,
everywhere, including to work and has cared for Willow, a feral cat, for several years.

Laurie wants to work in the area of wildlife conservation and is thrilled to join the Lewis &
Clark community to build a solid foundation in laws that effect animals in order to learn how
to effectively navigate through the court system to the benefit of animals.


Laurie currently works for a law firm specializing in aviation defense work, international air
law and contractual indemnification for a major commercial airline and municipality. Laurie
also receives appointments for guardian ad litem work in Surrogate’s Court, representing
disabled and incapacitated individuals.
