This is Thalia’s first semester at Lewis & Clark Law School, where she is earning a Masters of Studies in Animal Law. She first learned about the program through the New Roots Institute, where Professor Tischler discussed the conditions animals face in factory farms. Since high school, Thalia has been passionate about animal welfare, writing her first essays on bee protection and anti-vivisection testing. During her undergrad, Thalia struggled when asked about her future plans, but fate perfectly aligned, leading her to a program at an exceptional school where she is learning how to help those she loves most.
Center for Animal Law Studies is located in Wood Hall on the Law Campus.
