Caiti landed in Western North Carolina in 2017, and adopted her first animal who, unbeknownst to her, had a host of behavioral problems. With that, a spark was lit, and Caiti reconnected with her desire to protect and help animals. Her objective now is to align career with purpose. She’s ventured into several corners of this industry over the years, and during that time, realized that to make a real, lasting impact, she will need proper legal training and expertise. Caiti sees the opportunity to earn her Animal Welfare MSL as a steppingstone to affect the much-needed change in her rural community but is also excited for the prospect of international work. She hopes to focus on companion animals while keeping an open mind on all the program has to offer. Caiti knows her natural desire for research, and practical approach in problem solving combined with her confidence and creativity will help to expand the field of Animal Rights.
