APALSA provides its members with personal, academic, and professional support to aid in the development of its law students. We work with attorneys in the Portland area to provide networking and professional development opportunities for APALSA members. We also hold several events throughout the school year to build a sense of community within APALSA and the rest of the student body.

President: Roger Yuan (he/him)
Roger is a 3L from Nashville, Tennessee and he’s currently interested in Energy Law. He’s also done a little bit of Environmental Law and Environmental Justice work. In undergrad Roger double majored in Sustainability and Political Science with a minor in Chinese. He used to fence in national and Div1 competitions, but now just likes playing volleyball and pickleball. He’s also a sucker for horror movies and crosswords.
Vice President External: Cody Krato (he/him)
Cody is a 3L from Detroit, MI. He has an interest in environmental law, with a focus on clean energy. He enjoys long walks on the beach, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones before the end times.
Vice President Internal: Alexia Liu (she/her)
Alexia is a 3L from Montana, with an interest in public interest and business immigration law. In her free time, Alexia enjoys building legos sets, hiking, and paddleboarding.
Treasurer: Tracey Nguyen (she/they)Tracey is a 2L from Portland. She’s interested in business law and civil litigation. In her free time, she loves to read, chit chat, and go on nature walks.
Communications Manager: Danielle Pon (she/her)Danielle is a 2L from the California Bay Area with an interest in youth rights. She went to the L&C undergrad and got her BA in English with a minor in ENVS. She loves going to movie theaters, playing sudoku, and hanging out, but you can most often find her in the library!
Secretary: Connor McRobert (he/him)Connor is a 3L from Hillsboro, OR with an interest in environmental, land use, and natural resources law. Outside of law school, he’s on a never-ending quest for the best sushi and dim sum in the Portland metro, or watching new movies with his partner, Owen!
