Megan is pursuing her MSL in Animal Law after working in both healthcare and higher education. She is passionate about the welfare and liberation of all animals, both human and non, as well as environmental justice. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Whitworth University, where she was involved in campus leadership and first introduced to activism. Megan was first vegetarian, and then vegan for many years. She regularly volunteers at numerous farm animal sanctuaries, and especially enjoys working with the bigger animals, such as cows and horses. She has more recently gotten involved with various animal activism organizations and specifically enjoys advocating for animals being exploited for food. She hopes to use what she learns from the MSL program to work in either protecting the rights of animal activists or in supporting the reform of the industrial animal agriculture industry.
Center for Animal Law Studies is located in Wood Hall on the Law Campus.
