Driven by the core principles of Effective Altruism and possessing a profound understanding that welfare encompasses far more than mere physical health, Giulia has passionately dedicated her expertise, skills, and time towards amplifying the quality of life for animals within the global food production sphere.
Armed with a Degree in Animal Breeding Techniques and further fortified by an MSc degree in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics, and Law, Giulia is uniquely equipped to address the multifaceted challenges that characterize her field. Presently, she assumes the pivotal role of Global Policy Lead at Aquatic Life Institute.
When engaging with diverse stakeholders, Giulia masterfully communicates the essence of “animal welfare,” disentangling it from misconceptions, stereotypes, and sentimental veils. Her strength is to mold the different points of views to harness newfound opportunities.
Within the advocacy landscape, Giulia assumes advisory positions on the boards of Connect for Animals (CFA) and the Animal Law Program, University of Denver. These roles exemplify her commitment to catalyzing meaningful collaborations and fostering strategic alliances for the betterment of animal lives.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Giulia finds solace and joy in the embrace of nature. Her free time is dedicated to outdoor escapades, athletic endeavors, and composing music.
