Carlisle Pearson is a creative and thoughtful commercial litigator, supporting clients through complex disputes while tailoring his recommendations to their particular needs. Carlisle has assisted a variety of clients including healthcare companies, manufacturing companies, financial institutions, commercial and residential property owners, nonprofit organizations, retailers, and individuals.
Before joining Lane Powell, Carlisle worked for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Bonneville Power Administration where he gained experience with inter-agency negotiations and assisted in matters involving energy law, forest law, Indian law, federal lands law, natural resources law, and environmental regulations.
Carlisle has a longstanding dedication to advocacy as shown by extensive involvement in student organizations throughout college and law school devoted to the progression and advocacy of environmental sustainability and LGBTQ+ rights. In his legal career, Carlisle continues this work through his pro bono services, position on the Basic Rights Oregon and Basic Rights Education Fund Boards of Directors, and volunteering on various diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts both within and external to Lane Powell.
Creativity and self-expression are staples of Carlisle’s personality. He has been recreationally drawing and painting for eighteen years and has sixteen years of dance training in a variety of styles. Carlisle loves playing visually stunning video games and riding his motorcycle outside the city on bright summer days. Carlisle also has a pet ball python named Ferdinand, who Carlisle describes as “a very good boy.
