Sarah Liljefelt is a natural resources and agricultural real estate attorney at Dunn Carney, LLP. She represents landowners, business owners, and public entities in Oregon and California, and focuses her practice in the areas of real property, water rights, water utilities, special districts and municipal entities, environmental compliance, public lands access and authorizations, administrative adjudications, judicial review of agency orders, and state and federal civil litigation and appeals. Sarah has served on the executive committees for the Oregon State Bar’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Agricultural Law Sections. She is the Water Resources Committee Chair for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association and is passionate about supporting the agricultural community in its efforts to supply food and fiber to the world. In her free time, Sarah enjoys culinary experimentation, camping with her family, paddling outrigger canoes and kayaks, and white water rafting.
Water is the most fundamental and essential resource on Earth, and Lewis & Clark Law School provided the legal education to pursue my passion of representing water users throughout the West.
