Shawn Filippi ’99 is the former Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary of NW Natural Holdings and NW Natural, stepping down in 2025. She served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary of NW Natural for ten years, and assumed Chief Compliance Officer responsibilities for nine years. She led the NW Natural entities’ general corporate Business Integrity and Compliance program, which won a national award for best small- and mid-cap Ethics and Compliance Program in 2018. Ms. Filippi also led general corporate governance, securities and finance work for the NW Natural entities. Day-to-day work included providing corporate governance advice and counsel to the NW Natural entities’ Board of Directors; participating as a member of the NW Natural financial reporting and public company disclosure team; facilitating public equity and public and private debt issuances; managing the company’s Shareholder Services and Risk and Land departments; and engaging as an active member of the NW Natural and NW Holdings executive teams.
