Jun Ge ’95 was named CEO of ToJoy Shared Holding Group Co. Ltd., in 2019. Since its founding in 1991, ToJoy’s mission has been helping accelerate the growth of Chinese firms; the company is considered a pioneer in the unicorn incubation acceleration sector, which deals with privately held startups and grows them to become market leaders valued at more than $1 billion. Jun plans to push forward ToJoy’s implementation of its international strategy and business expansion. During his career, he has negotiated and led major investment projects worth more than $15 billion.
Jun began his career at Intel in 1996, right after graduating from Lewis & Clark Law School. Starting as Senior Legal Advisor for Intel Asia Pacific, he served successively as General Counsel Intel Greater China, Executive Director of Intel China, and finally Global Vice President during his twenty years with the company. He played an instrumental role in landing Intel’s multi-billion dollar investment projects in Pudong, Chengdu, Dalian, and Ho Chi Minh City. He also helped structure Intel’s Sales and Marketing and R/D corporate presence in China.
From mid-2014 to late-2017, Jun served as the Global Vice President of Apple. He was responsible mainly for the company’s development strategy, corporate and government affairs, policy and regulation research, corporate investment, cooperation with industrial partners, and corporate social responsibility in the Greater China Region (including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau).
Jun moved to ToJoy from Nvidia Corporation where he was Global Vice President of the AI Computing technology provider. At Nvidia he managed the company’s market policies, strategies, and relevant cooperation in China and other parts of the Asia-Pacific region.
Jun Ge holds a JD (1995) from Lewis & Clark Law School. He received his MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and LL.B. from East China University of Politics and Law. He was honored as an “Outstanding and Distinguished Graduate” by East China University of Politics and Law and “Distinguished Business Law Graduate” from Lewis & Clark. Twice he has been named one of “China’s Most Active Entrepreneurs in Supporting Social Responsibility” by the China Committee of Corporate Citizens.
