Lewis & Clark Law Celebrates the Newest Class of Incoming Students

Lewis & Clark Law proudly welcomes a large and diverse incoming class —176 students from 28 states and 13 countries—whose impressive backgrounds, academic strengths, and wide-ranging experiences reflect the school’s ongoing commitment to excellence, inclusion, and innovation in legal education.

Lewis & Clark Law recently welcomed the newest group of students for the 2025-26 academic school year. This academically-strong group of new scholars are poised for success following their introductory Legal Methods intensive.

The 2028 class, 176 students in total, has continued the trend of academic excellence as well as diversity, highlighting the increasingly wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and qualifications that this class is bringing to the table. The class has a median LSAT score of 161 and a median GPA of 3.59. Additionally, of the incoming class, 22 students enrolled at Lewis & Clark Law boasting a score above 170 on the LSAT. The class is also one of the most diverse with 31% identifying themselves as being students of color, 49% identifying as female, 44% identifying as male, and 7% chose not to identify.

Students come from 13 countries and 28 U.S. states are represented. With 11% of this class having been born outside of the United States, students also call Canada, China, Cuba, India, the Republic of South Korea, Mexico, the Philippines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam their homes.

Interest in the law school is growing, as shown by a 24% increase in applications, with over 1,100 candidates competing for a spot in this year’s class.
