Bridgett Chevallier, Thomas Buchele, and Haley Nicholson in San Francisco for their Nine Circuit case involving logging in Yosemite. 

Earthrise Clinical Professor Tom Buchele, along with Legal Fellow Haley Nicholson, representing the Earth Island Institute, argued before the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco on May 9th and urged them to impose a preliminary injunction on the National Park Service’s decision to log extensively within Yosemite National Park as part of its misguided and unscientific effort to reduce the severity of future wildfires by logging large trees.
