Business Law Program to Host Annual IP Fall Forum September 28

Co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property Section of the Oregon State Bar, the Business Law Fall Forum, “The Procedure of IP,” will take place from 8:30am to 6pm on Friday, September 28 at the Lewis & Clark Law School campus.
This forum will explore the various ways in which the laws of Civil Procedure and Intellectual Property intersect. Speakers will cover preclusion in the context of administrative proceedings, the territorial scope of IP claims and remedies generally, equitable estoppel within copyright cases, jury instructions in copyright cases, and the standards for infringement and burdens of proof in copyright cases.
Lewis & Clark Law faculty presenters will include Kay Kitagawa & Andy Johnson-Laird IP Faculty Scholar and Professor of Law H. Tomas Gomez-Arostegui and Lydia Pallas Loren, Henry J. Casey Professor of Law.
Presenters from across the country will include:
