As part of a larger analysis on Oregon’s solar incentive programs, GEI has completed a preliminary analysis of the benefits of Oregon’s Renewable Energy Tax Credit (RETC) Program. GEI’s newly released factsheet, available here, summarizes how Oregon’s RETC has helped Oregonians across the state and among different communities install over 18,000 kilowatts of new solar capacity between 2013 and 2015.
GEI offers opinions about legislation that would require utility transparency about spending ratepayer dollars on efforts to undermine climate policy and avoid wildfire litigation liability. GEI also addresses Oregon’s transportation funding shortfall.
