These grants were established to enable law students to explore options for law studies and legal practice by providing ongoing tuition relief during law school. There is no grade requirement in order to retain the award other than remaining in good standing while enrolled.

Lewis & Clark Law School Joins Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Program

Lewis & Clark Law School is now a School of National Service, offering up to $5,000 in matching scholarships for AmeriCorps alumni who receive the Segal Education Award.

New Public Defense Practicum Partnership with Metropolitan Public Defenders

Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, Lewis & Clark Law School is partnering with Metropolitan Public Defenders to offer a year-long Public Defense Practicum, giving 2L and 3L students practical experience in public defense at a time when Oregon is facing a crisis-level shortage of public defenders.
