Planned Giving and Bequests
Turn your values into legacies for learning
Charitable gift planning, when done well, can secure an envisioned future for yourself, your family, and Lewis & Clark Law School.
There are various gift options to choose when formulating a planned gift. Types of Planned Gifts and Gifts of Assets describe some of them. You can also Compare gift options and/or calculate how these gifts could work for you. Please contact Judy Asbury, Assistant Dean, for assistance or to discuss your personal situation and objectives.
When you name Lewis & Clark Law School as a beneficiary in your will, trust, life insurance, or retirement plan—or establish a life-income gift with us—you become a member of our Elliott Circle of Friends. The Elliott Circle was named in recognition of Neva Elliott (pictured below), a 1935 law school graduate whose 2001 bequest endowed a scholarship for evening-division students.
As an Elliott Circle member, with your permission, we will publish your name in our annual print publication, The Advocate. This encourages others to create planned gifts of their own, while keeping the details of your gift in confidence.
