• Description: Advanced Analysis in Pre-bar Skills is a skills-development course that focuses on improving the analytical skills needed to successfully complete the bar exam. This course is specifically designed to enhance skills in memorization, analytical reasoning, and writing. Specifically, you will receive in-depth skill instruction on reading comprehension, issue identification, rule mastery, critical thinking, legal analysis, and recognition of distractors. You will also gain a strong conceptual understanding and knowledge of doctrines in two highly-tested subject areas. You will also learn how maximize your understanding and retention of the legal concepts you will study during your bar review course this summer. Finally, you will learn the analytical and time-management strategies necessary to successfully complete the essay and practical portions of the bar exam. The course will use problems and exercises in a bar exam format to teach techniques for answering multiple choice (MBE) questions and for analyzing, organizing, and writing both essay questions and the practical writing section of the exam.
