Description

This course provides a practical approach to modern legal research. This course is designed as a fundamental research class. Students will develop advanced skills in recognizing secondary sources; finding cases, statutes, and regulations; and developing strong research plans. These skills will help students approach any legal problem encountered in practice, clerkships, or throughout law school. Students learn through a combination of lectures, weekly homework assignments, frequent in-class exercises, presentations, and other activities.
