Dorothy L. Cornelius served the law school for 20 years, first as secretary and finally as dean of admissions and registrar, before retiring in 1975. Her professionalism encouraged countless students; her warmth and support helped many students through to their own professional goals. Cornelius Honor Society members, selected annually by the faculty, are students who have distinguished themselves by their scholarship, leadership, and contribution to the law school community.

Leo Levenson Award
Leo Levenson (1903–1981), distinguished attorney and Oregon State Bar member for 56 years, was a highly respected instructor with the law school for many years. The award in his name honors excellence in teaching. It is presented annually to a faculty member selected by the graduating class.
