    Pro Bono Attorney Spotlight - Jacob McCormack ’22

    The Small Business Legal Clinic is proud to announce that year’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year is Jacob McCormack. Jacob will receive the award at the Distinguished Business Law Graduate Reception on April 15 at Miller Nash LLP.

    Jacob is a Lewis & Clark Law alumnus and current Assistant Director of Admissions for the Law School. He generously volunteers his time with the SBLC working directly with small business clients on their transactional law matters. Jacob interned at the SBLC during Law School, and has been an advocate for the clinic for several years.

  • Business Power of Attorney Pop-up Event

    Join the SBLC on Friday, May 16th for a one-day event focused on helping small business owners create a Business Power of Attorney. At this event, attorneys will assist you one-on-one, and you’ll leave with a completed Business POA tailored to your needs. Meetings can be held either virtually or in person. The cost for the pop up event is only $25.

  • Pro Bono Spotlight - Noah Maurer ʼ22

    Noah is a Lewis & Clark Law alumnus who volunteers as a SBLC Pro Bono Attorney and is on the board of directors for Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Noah is also rocking private practice, with his focus on business, mergers & acquisitions, and intellectual property law in the Pacific Northwest. Noah has a background of working with entrepreneurs, artists, and entertainers across the U.S. and Canada, and brings that real world experience to protect the creative and innovative interests of his clients.
